Curve-ball, Huh?

Hey Gang,

So this is more of a response/review of a fellow bloggers recent post, Isaac MisthHeart from That Pyromancer. No, I'm actually not complain about someone this time; this post was a great post by him and I think everyone should check it out! Go check it out here.

Anyway, so if you're too lazy to check out the post yourself or if you can't access it or even if you just don't like links, I'll give you a very basic summary of the post. But seriously, if you want the most out of this post and even Isaac's post, go check it out. So basically Isaac talks about his guesses about release dates and possible characters, and he even goes on to also say that this is obviously NOT Krokotopia. THANK ... YOU! At least there are some people who finally agree. Yes, BriskBreeze said that there was going to be another tower, and that it's next location is going to be in Krokotopia, we got that much. But look at this; we have a level 50 tower and a level 6o dungeon. Why in the world would they not wait for level 70 and make it more challenging; give the bosses more potential. You can also look at the architecture and geography. While Alric corrected me about deserts being barren (it was a general statement :P), they aren't as lush (I guess you could say) as Oasises. That being said, Saudi Arabia has is more of an Oasis/ lush area than Egypt. The only really green areas you'll find in Egypt are along the Nile and at the few oasises that they have.

So, we can safely assume that this is not an expansion of Krokotopia. The only way I could see this being an expansion is by them making a Saudi Arabian area of Krokotopia, which I don't see happening. It would cause a ton of tension between cultures. Anywho, but one thing Isaac suspects from KingsIsle is that they will throw us a "curve-ball" so to speak; they'll add something in that we've never seen up to this point of the game. So thinking of the Mastery Amulets and this post made me connect some points; what if we saw bosses that were two schools?

Confused? Stay with me; when you look at a boss, you see their name, correct? Now, when you look under their name, you see their school, right? Well, what if a boss was Fire and Myth? This would make it resistant to both the school of Fire and the school of Myth, however you could boost on them using Storm, Death, or Ice spells. This could lead to a bunch of different cheating bosses and interesting strategies. What do you think?

I have to get going, but before I leave, I figured I'd share some personal news with you guys. Not much to report on today; ran the Waterworks three times last night! The first was with the Twizard Panglou, Fallon from TPC and RR, and Angel WinterBreeze. We had some fun, and I got nothing but a Firestarter's Hood (which I already have) and 2 Mega Snacks. The second run was with all the same people except with Cassandra GriffinDreamer replacing Panglou. During that run, I got my Firestarter boots! :D woot! The last run was just me and Fallon, but we both used two accounts, and while Luke didn't get any gear, Valdus got his hat and his boots! Score! I'm looking forward to run it more; being with such talented wizards definitely put some new strategies in my brain. I also found out that Valdus's Ice Wyvern LOVES to Spritely, and honestly, I have no problem with that xD. I'm really hoping for Spritely on more of my Level 58 pets.

Gotta go now! Going out to lunch! Hope everyone is well!

P.S: It's almost the weekened and almost summer vacation; be happy! :)

Blogaversary and New Secondary Schools?

Hey Gang,

I feel like the last post didn't really get into about how sorry I was for that Debbie Downer post. I'm not going to erase it, because even though I'm sorry and I want to start a new chapter, I believe that people should still be able to see my mess ups and mistakes. To me, it seems wrong to erase my mistakes and to try to make my blog look perfect without tarnish. So I'm sorry to everyone I offended, and like I said, I don't even really feel that way about half the things I said. I don't believe you should curse in Wizard101, and I don't hate people that are against it. I don't mind very protective wizards. They're all good and I said it out of anger. So I hope everyone forgives me. :)

So last night's event went ok. We had about 10 listeners in the chatroom, so everyone but one person went home with a prize. The Grand Prize, a Lava Spider, was won by Elite Wizard, otherwise known as Jasmine Smith. The three Second Prize Winners, who were Arlen DawnEyes, Elijah LightThief, ans Thomas DeathGem received one Hand of Doom Pack each. And the winners of the two codes from KI Free Games were Sorceress Miklai and Edward LifeGem. So congrats to them. I was really looking for a broader audience since I spammed the event everywhere saying that there were going to be prizes xD. I guess I didn't give enough time notice, so the next event I'll hold will be announced well in advanced. We're looking for a TON of people to come out for it! ^_^

My Blogaversary is coming up in two days too! Well, theoretically, I've been blogging for more than a year, because I used to have a blog on Central. On May 3rd, it will have been a year since I moved from Central to Blogspot :) I'm so excited! Maybe I'll have a contest or something; we'll just have to wait and see!

Anyway, onto in-game news, I haven't been up to much outside of GrizzleHiem. In three days, I've gotten three of my Wizards out of GrizzleHiem and eagerly waiting to enter WinterTusk. Valdus, Noah, and Patrick have all completed GrizzleHiem (along with Luke, of course :D), so I'm excited to get through WinterTusk on them! Mycin is currently in the middle of RavenScar (he should be finished GrizzleHiem by the end of the night), Diana is in the middle of Vigrid Roughland, and Gilroy is in the middle of Savarstaad Pass. I noticed that GrizzleHiem really isn't that long of a world to go through (with the exception of RavenScar; gosh that place is a pain).

Now that in-game news is out of the way, I wanted to drop some Science on you guys! Well ... I guess it's not really Science ... I guess it would be more Theoretical Science; aka theory-crafting in W101 :D.

So how many of you guys are Avatar: The Last Airbender fans?

...

Like, serious fans?

...

Ok! Well, I was thinking; you know who there's Waterbending, Earthbending, Firebending, and Airbending? Well, as Icywiz stated many times before me, our schools of magic act very similar to this form of classing people. Now, you know how there's Sandbending and Lightningbending(?)? I'm not sure if that's what the art is called, but it's when they bend sand and lightning and that type of stuff. It was kinda like how the certain schools met each other. For example, a mix between Airbending and Earthbending would be Sandbending (I don't remember if that's correct, but it went something like that). Well, what if our schools mixed into new Secondary Schools?

But what would these schools be, Luke?

Well, let's take Ice and Fire; mix them together, and what do we get? Water. Now, some people might say, "But Storm's water!" This isn't true. Sure, they may have some spells that live in water, but Storm focuses more on electricity and storms. Notice that, while the Kraken and the Triton live in the water, they use the power of electricity to damage their opponents. Some I'm saying this; new school: Water! This school could be a utility school focusing on making battles more fluid; maybe even an attack spell here or there? An example of a Water Spell would be a reflective shield, which actually is a great history reference. Back in the old days when mirrors weren't that good, many civilizations had a mirror pool where you could see your reflection from the water. This spell is obviously not my original idea, as I got the spell from Friendly. This spell would reflect the same amount of damage that was dealt on you to your enemy. So, for example, if I was using Insane Bolt, it wouldn't matter if I hit myself, because the reflective shield would bounce it back to my enemy! How awesome is that?

Well, toss us some more of your ideas!

Ok! Well ... How about Storm and Life? What do you get when a Storm hits a forest? Not only do you get destruction, but you also get new life after the storm as well. Therefore, why don't these spells focus on effects that hurt the opponent first and heal the allies later? Sound impossible? How about reasonable? I like to call this the Climate School.

Here's another; Death and Myth. Myth only has one ultimate enemy; death. How is this so? Well, a Myth serves multiple purposes; mainly to explain events and to entertain those that hear them. If a Myth is no longer told or it is disproved, it "in theory" dies. So why don't we make spells from this school take damage away from previous turns. Spells could start out like, "Take away damage of opponent's last attack," and eventually go up to "Take away opponent's spell effect from team from last 3 rounds." That would be an amazingly powerful spell to weild! This could be called the History School.

I don't know; they're just ideas, and they could obviously use improvement. Tell me what you think! What mixes of schools would you like to see, and what spells would they use/be like?

Ok, back to GrizzleHiem! I'll see you soon!

So Luke sent meh a wizmail with a pretyped post for ya! Her it is!:

"Blog Title: New Banquet Hall?

Hey Gang,

Sorry I couldn't be here to post today! I walked into my Massive Fantasy Palace to find a trap on my rug! I'm all tied up and trying to unknot myself (I talked to Mycin StarGem, my cousin about it ... he says he's seen something like it before? He said it's kinda like a Chinese Finger Trap, where the person in it has to get out of it themselves due to an enchantment on the rope). But don't fear! I have Mycin on the case of posting, so he should have this post up today!

Today I really want to talk to you about FireGlobe Theater in Firecat Alley (that place where you face off with Alicane SwiftArrow and where you will find the History of Fire Book). FireGlobe Theater is a reference to Shakespeare's Globe Theater, and while with Oran, I was thinking of the huge potential of this place!

Think about this: Imagine if this place was turned into a Banquet Hall! Sure, you'd still face Alicane SwiftArrow here, but what if they turned this old building in the Shopping District...:

... into a Banquet Hall Rental Store? WOuldn't you like to rent out places like the FireGlobe Theater in Wizard City, Barkingham Palace in MarleyBone, the MarleyBone Submarine in Celestia, the Jade Palace in Mooshu, or that secret island with the single pyramid on it in Krok? I personally think this would be a great idea for KingsIsle to consider! It would add a whole new facet to parties in-game.

What would one do at these parties, a curious reader might be wondering; what exactly would you do at the party. Well there are tons of ideas that I have, particularly for the FireGlobe Theater:

1. Perform a Play
2. (Kinda like 1) Play minigame.
3. Dancing Contest minigame.
4. Pet Talent Show minigame.
5. Set Design minigame.
6. PvP or PvE, where you could select the enemy you fight (including bosses from around the Spiral).
7. Identifying Constellation/ Creating Constellation minigame.

So as you can see, there would be a lot of activities to do at the FireGlobe Theater. I've asked Mycin to go in and take some screen shots for the blog, so he should provoide you with some visuals.

Another curious reader might ask, "How would one go about reserving a FireGlobe Banquet Hall?" Well, first you'd have to put down a deposit for the date and time of the party. The deposit would probably be around 50,000-75,000 gold. THEN, you would pay an additional 25,000-50,000 gold to rent the place for an hour. That brings you up to 100,000 gold. 150,000 would buy you two hours, and 195,000 would buy you 5 hours. You could also choose to pay in Crowns. If you pay with Crowns, a deposit is not required. 100 Crowns buys you an hour, 200 buys you 2, and 300 buys you 5. Also, if you have a membership, the price would be reduced as a perk (probably by 10-20%).

That also opens up a whole new ray of questions, such as, "How would one attend the party," "How many people would the banquet hold," and, "Would there be a way to invite people that aren't on your friend list?" I thought about this for a while, and decided that it would probably work best if it worked auction-house style. First, one could send out invitations to people on their friends list. The friend would then get a gift icon with a party invitation inside (maybe you would be able to customize your own invitation?!). My guess is, the banquet hall couldn't hold more than 100-150 wizards, so it would be a thing to rent for a small get-together.

Also, when you are choosing the time and date for your party, you would get two privacy options. One would be, "Let uninvited wizards teleport into the party?" and the other would be, "Show this party on the Party List?" (more on the party list later). You would be able to adjust these settings as you wish. My last idea for this possible new feature is the Party List. If you're bored and you don't have anything else to do, you COULD attend a party! When you go to the Scheduler, there would be two tabs; a "Rent a Hall" tab and a "Party List" section. The parties on the Party List are parties that the hosts don't really care if you, a random stranger, attends. Remember, there is a setting that makes your party not shown on the Party List.

I gotta get going! This knot is getting really annoying! If you have any questions, just leave a comment below! Wish me luck!

P.D."

Well, thats all hes got 4 2day. Her r the pics he axed me 2 take:

ight, dats all I got. C ya peeps,

Alan Wake and My Observations of the New Video

Hey Gang,

Well, I've been up to a lot lately! Shall we get started?

So let me start off with some personal news, and eventually we'll progress into my observations concerning the new video. So who's ever heard of Alan Wake? It IS a rated T game, so I wont get into the more gruesome parts of it. Anyway, I spent my gaming time this past weekend completing that game, and let me tell you; it was absolutely fabulous! If you're 13+ and are looking for a good horror mystery game, I highly suggest checking this game out.

Basically it's about this horror mystery writer (the guy's name is Alan Wake; HUGE reference to Stephen King) who lives in New York with his lovely wife Alice. Well, this writer has been having Writer's Block for the past 2 years, and he's been getting grumpier with each day he can't write. So his wife secretly calls a clinic that specializes in helping artists gain their spark of innovation back (you find out later in the game that they aren't so good with this).

Anyway, so Alice tricks him into thinking that they're going on vacation. When she tries to get him to write, he gets really mad and goes for a walk on the little island they are vacationing on. Well, next thing he knows, the power goes out (its night time), and his wife has a phobia of the dark. When Wake goes into their cabin to help her, he finds the balcony railing broken that's directly over the lake. He dives in to save her, and he passes out.

He then wakes up to find himself in a crashed car. There are also pieces of a manuscript lying around. Now, I can't really go any further from here without spoiling the game for people who want to play it, but it's an amazing game. It's inspired me to start writing again, so I also have yet another reason to love the game.

So I was playing that when I had the chance. I finally beat it, and I should resume playing Wizard101 again. There really isn't much to say about Patrick's progress; as I said, I haven't really been able to play him much. He's just starting the Grotto, and I have to say, I really love my strategy. What I usually do is boost Valdus up with all my blades, then I'll have Valdus attack. As you can guess, however, certain schools are resistant to Ice, so that's a major weakness. I'll probably change it up as I go along.

So let's move on to the juicy stuff; take a look at this picture from the video that was released last Friday:

Does anyone see anything odd there? The guy with the Scarecrow pet is wearing what seems to be the GrandMaster Life Gear.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not saying it is the GrandMaster Life gear.

What I'm saying is, the clothing he's wearing happens to be the same design for the GrandMaster Theurgist's Robe, Hat, and Shoes (they are also green, the color of the Life School, as well). Another item of note: He is wearing the level 45 No Auction Life Blade. Now, this item is more debatable, because Death wizards are likely to use Life Wands due to shielding and such, however it could be a Life Wizard wearing a Life Wand.

After I looked at this, I started looking at the different Wizards that had these new pets:

So if you notice, none of them really are wearing clothing representing the school of the pet (or at least, their clothing isn't pertaining to their School Colors. Rather, they seem to dress as other Schools of Magic than the School of their pet). A red clothed guy (could be a Fire Wizard) is wearing a Humongofrog as well as a black and purple clothed girl (could be a Death Wizard). Also, a blue clothed girl (could be an Ice wizard) has the Kraken pet.

Also, take a look at their clothing. Do yo see and Celestian-looking gear or wands? Now, again, this could be just because the KingsIsle Employees simply don't like the look of the Celestian gear, OR it could suggest that these pets are NOT obtained via the level 58 School Pet quests. This kinda makes me sad though. I really wanted that Scarecrow pet.

So, what does this mean? This could mean that these are NOT school specific pets!

Now, while I realize any Myth wizard could wear an Orthrus whilst sporting Black and Purple attire, I'm just suggesting; think about it. There's no solid evidence saying that these pets are/aren't School Specific pets. I would consider the following:

1. They are new pets we can buy.
2. They are pets earned from school quests, however, they are not school specific.
3. They are new hybrids.

What are your thoughts? Be sure to comment below!

Well, that's about all the time I have to spare today Wizards! I'll see you in the Spiral!

P.D.

P.S: Again, this is all theorycrafting!

Wintertusk Announced! Theory-Crafters, We NEED You!

Hey Gang,

So yesterday, the amazing Ditto has given us ASTOUNDING news! KingsIsle has announced their next world; WinterTusk (otherwise known as Jotungaard or WT)!! Now, if you wanna see what it's all about, go check it out on Ditto's blog. I really just wanna post my ideas on what's going on. So, here it is - my thoughts and theories for the next world: Now, when being introduced to a new world, there's a huge question that comes to mind: Will this world be a side quest world, or will it be a main world? This world, by all means, looks to me like a side quest world, due to the major fact that they never released info on a level cap increase (however, this could happen within the next couple weeks). So don't get your hopes up yet. HOWEVER, take a look at this!:

Try to focus on that thing she has her hand around. That's right folks; it's a horn! Now, I'm pretty sure there's a folk tale lurking in the Spiral about a horn belonging to Grandmother Raven, sister of Bartleby. I can't remember at the moment, but I'll be sure to get back to you! I actually putting together a research group to investigate the matter! It is called the Order of the Horn, and if you would like to join the hunt, be sure to comment and/or request to join the group on DoaW ConnectX.

But yes, I think that Horn that GrandMother Raven is holding is Morganthe's next target. My theory is, due to Morganthe's prophecy ("...the horn will call..."), she would like to steal this horn from Granny Raven, causing something terrible to happen to the Spiral! Specifically, she wishes to awaken the Titans with the Horn, causing a second Titan War! How terrible would that be?! But imagine seeing this as well; what if there was a raid at the end of this story arch? Not exactly a raid in the fact that it might take a week to complete it. I'm talking more about 8-people battle circles, a ton of puzzles and task, and possibley even taking down some Titans! The dungeon would probably take a long time though; I'm thinking somewhere between 3-5 hours. Also, in case you can only play, say, two hours a night, they wont clear your progress for a few days (possibly weekly).

So it all leads back to that one question: Will this be a continuation of a side world only, OR will it ALSO tie a side world to the main story line? Again; our only clue that it may be a main quest world is that horn. Also, as I said, I need some research to back me up, so I'm gathering researchers from the group to go on an expidition through the Spiral and search for clues. I will be leading this expidition along with three other wizards. Everytime we find something that may be of importance, we'll pose it to some theorists and decide how exactly we want to use it. It's going to be a LOT of fun! Also, there will soon be another expidition (we still need a leader for this one, as I am not up to the task) to find runes and possible references hidden in quests to Jotungaard or anything else that may include Mother Raven or Morganthe's prophecy.

By the way, while we are on the matter ... what exactly is Morganthe's prophecy? "The Mirror will break, the Horn will call! From the shadows I stike, and the skies will fall!". Geesh, sounds ominous. So as I've said a billion times, I believe this horn she talks about is GrandMother Raven's Horn. But what exactly is the mirror? I have a theory that I don't whole-heartitly agree with. What if GrandMother Raven is the mirror? When the mirror breaks (meaning GrandMother Raven dies), Morganthe can sound her horn for the Titans? Sounds plausible. But what would the next three worlds be about? Well, there ARE three different types of titans: The Triton Titan(s), the Dragon Titan(s), and the Giant Titan(s). Now, we dont exactly know how many there are left, but we certainly know that there is still at least one Dragon Titan and one Triton Titan. Heck, we could witness Morganthe awaken a Frost Giant Titan at the end of Jotungaard.

But then another question arises; we've already been to DragonSpyre. We've already been to GrizzleHiem (and soon to be WinterTusk). We've already been to Celestia. How are they going to reinvent these characters into the story without making us go back to worlds we've already been to? Well, the way I see it, after WinterTusk, there will be three worlds left open for this arch. Instead of us traveling to the Titans, have the Titans travel to us! For example, the Triton Titan can travel to a world such as the Mayan world I purposed. He causes bad things to happen there, and we put him back to sleep somehow. See what I'm saying?

I also think that there's another part to Morganthe's prophecy that she's not telling us. The part, that is, that talks about us saving the Spiral. And wouldn't it be cool if, for the Dragon Titan, we were brought into a Utopia, kinda like how DragonSpyre was before the Dragon Titan got there? But this time, we could actually save it! It'd be sweet! :D

As to the skies falling part of the prophecy, maybe we'll meet the Celestians again at an observatory in the Spiral, and their doom will repeat itself.

Ok, I gotta get going. I'll see ya!

I'm Stormin' Into Stormriven

Hey Gang,

So last night, Diana and her questing buddy Blaine StormMender, Wolf IceHutner's brother, reached Stormriven! Hooray! Right now they're trying to beat up some Squidwards!

So yesterday I was talking with several people on Twitter, including Christina IceDreamer (@icywiz), Arlen DawnEyes (@arlendawneyes), Alric RavenSinger (@Alricravenwiz), and Paige MoonShade (@paigemoonshade). We were talking about reagents, and I suggested and idea that we should be able to "disencahnt" items, as Christina put it. Turns out, Christina IceDreamer thought of this idea long, long ago in one of her segements of Ravenwood Radio, so this idea has been around, obviously, for a while.

So what is, "disenchanting"? Disenchanting is when you have a reagent, for example, a Gold Pearl, and you break it down into it's componets, in this case, 15 Gold Pearls. Now say you need 108 pieces of Kelp, and you happen to find an Aether. Now, wouldn't it be easier to disenchant this item so you wound up with 15 pieces of Kelp? That would certainly be uber awesome! especialyl with things like Aethers, Golden Pearls, and Sun Stone. What do you guys think about disenchanting?

None of my other characters were really up to much yesterday. Even Mycin wasn't as avid about crafting. It's probably because of all the Sun Stone he needs, and the lack of enemies that drop it (I've heard that the people in the Science Center stopped dropping it, so I've been forced to the bosses in the Chancel :/). I did, however, record my segment for A2Z! I also offically entered my video for the contest, which includes a W101 inspired costume and some updated info! I'm really hoping I win. Chances are, though, I probably wont keep it xD. I'll probably give it to my mom.

Ok, so I gotta get going! I'll see you guys in the Spiral!

Spending A Snow Day In A Tropical Jungle

Hey Everyone,

So I have a snow day today! YAY! Thank you gods of the snow. So last night I was up till midnight EST questing on Diana with Blaine. Boy are they busy bees! Last night they made it all the way to the Stellarium! W00t! Awesome job guys! Then, not to mention, they made it through half way of the Floating Land this morning, due to a tiny bit of help from Valdus GoldHorn! Man, they are working it!

Anyway, while I was questing this morning on a tropical island enjoying the luxuries of a snow day, the jungle got me thinking ... what if the Floating Land wasn't originally like this? What if it was originally part of a bigger ... um ... well, mainland. Do you see where I'm going with this?

If you do, you realize I'm talking new world material. What if this island was originally part of a Mayan jungle mainland with a whole bunch of platypus or platypi, or platypeople, or ... whatever (Awesome Phineas and Ferb reference! ;D). This jungle could be much, much, much, MUCH bigger than the Floating Lands. The commons could look something like a grassy clearing with Mayan temples towering the area. Forest could surround this opening too. They could have beach area, like the Floating Land, jungle areas, cave areas, and even some under water levels. Some dungeons could be ancient crypts, or even areas as well. Imagine seeing a Mummypus! O. O

Now, how would these two places have been separated? Well, it could have been naturally reasons; the magical pulls of the Spiral drifted the part of the mainland further and further away until it became it's own island. Or, it could have been due to evil forces that had an ancient war there. Or, it could have been the Celestians, wanting to observe the platypus natives in fewer numbers. Or it could have been why all lands were separated in the Spiral; the Titan War could have had its toll with this ancient Mayan civilization as well. All of these reasons seem to be pretty cool.

What would such a world be called though? To tell you the honest truth, I'm not the best at coming up with names for my worlds. I mean, Draculainia? You have to admit, that was pretty lame. If you would like me to through something out there, then maybe something like Magyia or Incotopia (Incas, get it?). I don't know, do you guys have any ideas? Readers?

As for any new magics, I don't think there'd be any. However, maybe some new skills, like fishing or something? Or another cool idea would be a skill called Rune Stones or Enchantments. These would be special spells used on your gear that give you certain boosts for certain lengths of time. Or maybe they can add a level for our pets instead of us? I don't know; just spit-balling here.

What are your ideas? I'd love to know!

PLOX!

The REAL Post For Today!

Hey Everyone,

So, sorry about that last post. Think of it more as a note to people who had doubts that I wasn't playing by the rules (and some of my readers did an awesome job explaining that the picture may have wound up the via something I posted).

So what's today's real topic? Today I wanna go over a post that The Friendly Necromancer posted! :D He's awesome, that guy! I really admire any parent that plays W101, or any video games for that matter! Imma try to persuade my friend to play tomorrow...

Anywho, the post was about this idea of "reincarnation" or "invigoration". The idea was that you could have a choice to re-level your character (also possibly costing extra money). However, the catch is that you can get more training points, redo the looks of your character, change your school, get special spells available only to these wizards, etc. So I tells Friendly, I says, "I'll write about my views on the post." And he says, "Awesome!" So, here we are.

What do I think?????

Well, I don't like the terms "invigorate" or "reincarnate". I think it would be pretty cool if they introduced it like this:

Merle Ambrose thinks that Malistare (or Morganthe, or whomever you'd like to insert) might be coming back with more evil plans (yes, Morganthe would have to be dead for this to work out). he offers to cast a time warping spell, sending you back to the past to see if there are any clues of his/her return. Now, what do I keep if I accept this quest? I get to keep all my items (including house, items in house, gear, pets, areas bought with crowns, etc.) I currently own. However, I loose my level and all current spells (well, except for the starter spells from your starter school).

Everything else would be subject to change; your face, hair, colors of robe, your school, your training point route; all much different (or the same if you'd like it to be that way)! Now, the past Ambrose actually knows of the future Ambrose's plan, and offers to teach you a few new spells here and there. This could possibly introduce the Temporal School! You would learn Temporal Spells from Ambrose along your journey. Also, Ambrose might call you over to his office for some new quests (that weren't in the original story line) that could involve you being your pet, getting a new Temporal spell; all exciting new stuff!

Then the next world would focus on the world of the temporal schools, were you finally complete your journey! Here you see Malistare (or Morganthe) do some evil wicked thing and a new villain is born! Idk, maybe the Friendly Necromancer can take this a step further? I think that would be a pretty cool sneak peek type of quest line for the NEXT story arch, don't you?

The badge you would get from this would be called, "Time Buster" or something along those lines. Maybe something cooler like, "Precursor [Insert School Here]". There would also be other changes; more training points, harder to obtain xp; stuffs like that, ya know?

Anyway, I need to make like a banana and split! I'll see ya!

The New Temporal Schools

Hey Everyone,

So, I've been doing two things on Valdus and Noah. I've been both farming for thier Level 58 gear, as well as just trying to get them up to level 60! Valdus is almost there, and he needs to do a run with Noah through the Lunarium to finally become a Legendary Thaumaturge (so if anyone wants to come along, I have two spots open, and I'll be running it around 4:15 P.M. EST). Valdus also got his robe, his boots, and his athame yesterday, and now has his full look developed! He is wearing the sawshbuckler hat, as with his old look, with Centurian Armor and Archealogist Boots. I seem to really like this look; I have no idea why. It looks epic though!

Noah, on the other hand, isn't turning out so well. He is only about half way to becoming a Legendary Conjurer, and he has not recieved one piece of his Legendary Gear. Yeah, he still has a long way to come along, but hey, he's getting there, and I'm not complaining. /shrug.

So yeah, I wanted to talk to you today about the Temporal Schools of Magic. Now, when I was new to blogging, I refused to even phathom about these schools, because the idea of adding new schools seemed so impossible about a year ago. But now, with the release of the Astral School, it gets one to wonder; If we have Space Magic, will we also learn Time Magic? Everyone knows space and time fit together. Will this be a whole new school we will see in the future?

I got on this topic because of Wolf IceHunter, one of my best friends in real life who got me into W101. We have these famous Wizard101 talks while I am walking Puppymancer and while he is walking Puppymancer's gal (Yeah, that's right, Puppymancer has a wife ;-) ). Yesterday we got talking about the Temporal Schools. You know, Wolf kinda reminds me of Sako from iCarly. I'm like Spencer, constantly talking about this dude Sako, who you never really see, but you know about him. Hehe, I shall now refer to Wolf IceHunter as: Sako ;P (He tells me that once he progresses further into the game, he might try to actually join the community, so that's awesome :) ).

Anywho, how would this wghole new triangle of Magic work? Well, and this seems pretty obvious, there would be three new schools: Past Magic, or Paradoxical Magic; Present Magic, ___________ or ; and Future Magic, or ________ (Maybe you could fill in those blanks for me, readers? ;P). Past Magic would focus on things like bringing certain cards and spell back, like maybe drawing 5 cards back from your discard pile, or maybe, if your opponet used Earthquake or some other type of disarming spell, a spell to bring back your traps and/or wards. Present Magic would focus on different stuns, dispells, mana regeneratiuon spells, and shields. Like, how about an Elemental Dispell card? (Dispells Fire, Ice, and Storm Magic). Future Magic would focus on spells that would let you see your opponets cards so you could defend against them, or maybe a spell that lets you see their whole hand for a certain amount of time (which maybe you could extend to having the ability to discard x amount of cards).

I don't know, Past (I like the name Paradoxical Magic ;P) and Future Magic sound awesome to me, but Present Magic needs some work. Maybe Present Magic could remove auras and globals, since there are currently no spell that can do such a thing? Who knows!

So yeah, tell me what you think. Also, the second Ambrose 2 Zeke episode is out and available for listening! (Shout out to John SpiritShade :3 ) So yeah, I released my segment a little too early last time, so I'm going to try to keep up with the dates so I can post the segments closer to the release date. My 3rd Segment is about my idea of Draculania, and it's ten minutes long! xD the original segment, which talked about teh Feudal System, Draculania, and gradening took 30 minutes! So yeah, the world of Draculania is being split into two parts.

My 5th segment ( 4th is the second part to Draculania) will be about the Temporal Schools, so look out for that if you're interested in this idea!

I have to go, so I'll see ya in the Spiral!

P.D.

P.S: Remember to let me know if you'd like to help me run the Lunarium! Hint Hint Alric Ravensinger ;P
