Some Good and Some Bad

Hey Everyone,

Ok, so, I got some bad news and some good news. Let's start off with the bad news:

Bad News: The interview with Christina IceDreamer got messed up (by me) because I used a bad recorder. However, we still had a lot of fun, and she said she'd be willing to redo the interview since I have a different recording system! w00t! Christina IceDreamer (and Stephen SpiritCaller, Alric RavenSinger, and anyone else who will be interviewed in the future. But mostlyl Christina for doing this for me! :D ), you guys are the best!

Good News: I have another possible interview. Christina IceDreamer kindly offered to ask Kevin BattleBlood from the Chillanthropologist blog if he wants to be interviewed! So that will be so much fun, and I can't wait to have a convo with him (if he says yes).

As for my Myth wizard, him and his comrades (Shelby DeathHammer AKA Wolf IceHunter and Edward StormMender AKA Blaine StormMender) are now out of Wizard City! W00t! Here are some screen shots:

Rofl! It looks like the Cyclopse next to Edward either respects him or wants to start a fight! Noah is almost level 15 at this point in time! I also got a NEW Blue Banshee pet from Nightshade (and like 4 Dark Faeries rofl!).

Also, Diary of a Wizard is having its Ravenwood Ball tonight, so make sure to come and buy a great outfit! Also, Stephen SpiritCaller and Leesha DarkHeart will be doing a live podcast that begins @ 6.

Some Test Realm Fun!

Hey all!

Just Some New Stuffs!

Hey All,

So the Test Realm went offline yesterday and went back live at around 11 at night. I didn't get to do much yet, but I hear the cost of Hatching hasn't changed, which also kind of disappoints me. Also, our pets were reset. ... UGH! lol.

So I'll tell you a bit about that when I play around with it more...

I'm also starting a Myth Alt. He is currently level 10 and is just completing Firecat Alley. His last street is Cyclops Lane, and then he's off to Colossus.

Test Realm is Now Blah...

So I recently sent this to KI:

Hey there Kingsisle,

So, I wanted to share my concerns with you about the test realm. First I'd like to say I was happy about most of your changes. The parts I didn't like and think you need to improve on will be listed. I hope you continue to hear us out and make this game shaped more by the players then by a company! :D And personally, I don't mind waiting longer on this to go live, because I'd rather it be fun then sloppy and boring. So, here I go:

1. Hybrid Mixing- This was a big success and a big problem. I love how we can now mix our pets into entirely new pets! Amazing job! However, I do have to problems with this:

a. I think you need to lower the gold and higher the success rate of cross breeding pets. If I have to pay 100,000 gold for ANOTHER Helephant, I believe I just wasted my money there. In the Test Realm, as of right now, I have breed my pets eight times and have only gotten a hybrid ONCE. That's 1/8! I want something cool and stylish. I think we should also have a choice in specifically what "class" persay, our pet goes into. For example, if I'm breeding for a PvP pet,when I breed two pets, a bar should pop up with a "class list" on it. So, if I'm breeding for PvP, I'd chose the PvP class. Then the "Gene Pool" would pick the best of it's PvP traits from both parents. Do you see where I'm getting at? I think that one of these "classes" should be "Hybrid", where the main idea is just to get a hybrid of the two parents. Say I have a Stormzilla and a Helephant, and I want to cross breed. I click the "Hybrid" bar, and it will (randomly) pick the appearance from one pet and the school patterns/colors/etc. from the other. You should also lower the gold cost, because why would you buy a housing item for 100,000 gold when you can buy a huge house for around 80,000 gold. Also, this high price is stunting the testing of breeding. Another thing: Breeding times. I think 12 hours would be a more reasonable time. Otherwise, I think this is really awesome and you should keep up the good work.

b. The Artwork of the Pets- For most, (and remember, I'm specifically talking about the class pet from level 48) are amazing. However, there are a few of them, such as the mixes of the Satyr with Stormzilla and a Hydra, as well as the Hydra with Colossus, Helephant, and Stormzilla, that I was very disappointed with. I do like the blueish satyr thing, but maybe for the Hydra with Satyr you can do something like a seraph that kinda looks like a lady judgement. And for the Hydra, I like how the storm one is all purple, but shouldn't the fire and Ice one be all red and light blue too? And shouldn't they have patterns or something? Also with the Fallen Angel, shouldn't you get that from mixing Life and Death, not Death and Storm? Besides my few suggestions, I really like the artwork, so awesome job!

2. Pet Exp- I think we need more experience during our mini games or less exp should be needed to level up your pet. It takes way too much gold and time for some players. Some players would rather quest then spend a month just getting one pet to epic.

3. Other Notes- I really like your work KI. You've done an awesome job with this. However, like any game, there's always room for improvement. I hope you read this and take my thoughts into consideration!

Ok, wow lol.

So I would like to pick a class for my pet. that would be really cool. I would definitely do Hybrid most often, lol.

Also, I think, for example, that some of the pets should change. for example, the Icezilla or whatever it's called. I can just go and farm that in Ravenscar, and, for Ice wizards, the one at Ravenscar is even better. This should give you something else, maybe a change of pet entirely. For example, they did this with the Satyr. Sometimes it comes out as a Seraph (Lol, the Ice Seraph REALLY does look like Lady GaGa, ROFL!). Maybe Stormzilla should sometimes come out as a Kraken? I would love to have my own Fire KRAKER! (lol get it? Pun ... I= ... stop staring at me lol) or for Ice and Life, instead of a mossback colossus, why not (and I'm talking about Ice + Life, not Life + Ice ... Yes, they're two different things) a Forest Dragon (A Life Wyvern), or even a Life Giant! :O

But yeah, so tell me what you think...

Nidavellir Mysteries..?

Hey All,

So, I guess, Happy Birthday to me :). So for my birthday, I got a docking station for my ipod (sweet), a webcam (sweeter), a BestBuy $20 Gift Certificate for Wizard101 (w00t!), and a microphone/ headset (Double w00t!)!! So, I'm pretty happy!

I'm going to try my best to make my interviews now recorded instead of typed. Maybe I'll now also have a chance at being on Ravenwood Radio lol.

Also, I'm looking for anyone interested in being interview. If you blog, tweet, run a site, run a podcast, facebook about, or even just play Wizard101 and would be interested in an interview, I would love to here from you. I'd like people who participate in the community, but I'll take anyone! :) Here is what you need:

Ok, so let's move on to today's post: Nidavellir!!!!

Ok, so those who have seen my blog posts on Central know that I'm obsessed with things like Celestia and Astral Magic. Well someone found something very interesting in Nidavellir, and I give them credit for me being blind...

Take a look at these juicy pictures:

It appears that, near the entrance to Nidavellir, there are two doors. One has a sun, the other has a moon. The both have "Ice Torches" on them. Also, in the middle of the floor, there is a mural of the tree of Bartelby surrounded by a Sun on one side, a Moon on the other, and stars on the top. So, whats the Deal, brah?

Here's what I think is going on: I think that these just MIGHT be where the classrooms for Astral Magic are. MAYBE! Maybe they are for Astral Magic quests? Maybe they're for an upcoming Ice quest? Who knows?

However, I think they will serve some purpose in the Astral Magic Triangle.

Hey All,

So, tonight was a wonderful night!! First, I attended the Coven run after-party, and I met up with Thomas LionBlood (The Friendly Necromancer). He added me, and we talked about a possible interview. Next, I met up with Stephen SpiritCaller and a new friend, Alric RavenSong. I'm also preparing an interview with Stephen SpiritCaller!!! W00T! Anyway, so yea, I met an awesome wizard named Alric RavenSinger. He was pretty darn cool. He showed me both of his houses, and they were truly stunning. I just knew he would be awesome to interview. Well I started drawing when I was about four years old and started decorating around September of 2009

Yes very hard its always about refining your work but always remembering to have fun or it ain't worth it

I might not be as good as others but I always remember to have a good time drawing or decorating

Well it seems obvious that you really care about your work. Can you tell us a bit about your home(s)?

Sure the first is a Balance school house I bought for 100,00 gold its outside is a lovely forest-y park area complete with waterfall while inside each room is dedicated to each school so all rooms are different fromt one another one has a Kraken staur while the other has Prof.Falmea hagging behind the desk

The second house well you know I can't say its sort of secret lets just say its a Myth house also bought with gold :)

Wow! You must have done a lot of farming! Lol! I loved my personal sneek peek of your new house. Is it true that your first house has won contest(s)?

Well actually No My dorm has won contest back when I was a new free player I entered the Facebook Housing Contest and won first place in the Dorm category It was Krokotopia themed

currently both my houses have yet to win but I'm counting the days until the next contest

Absolutely I'd love to first know what goes well together themed rooms are better then a romm of random things learn to substitute stuff I don't come across Ice stuff often but I sub that with Cold colors think Mooshu but less green always remember to have fun and learn to take advice even from an outsider

Yeah, I noticed your blues in the Ice room matched very well! Ok, well, that pretty much wraps things up. Do you have anything else you'd like to comment on, such as new housing items you'd like to see or anyone you'd like to thank?

So, I'm sorry I haven't been posting so much. I've been really busy, and I haven't been doing so good in my classes. I might have my Laptop taken away too, so I don't know when the next time I'll post is.

Anyway, so, let's just talk about some news for today. So, Mycin got to Level 48!!! He got his Stormzilla (Lord Barney) and his Storm Lord. I was so excited, and battles are very easy now!!! :D

Ok, so, I was kinda late on the news. I had Drama practice until 5:30, and then I had to go to a Board of Education meeting until 9 protesting to support my Latin program (Yes, fight the powa, lol). So when I saw IT, I was so surprised!

Take a look at this y'all:

See that little crab dude on the left? He was recently added! And, look what he's wearing! I think this reveals a lot about the fashion of Celestia! To me, this pretty much has said that we will be wearing.... TOGAS!!! Omg, I'm going to be like the first to have a toga party!!! It's funny, because I've been wearing togas all week!


So, if I could chose my toga colors, I would wear a red with yellow toga with yellow laurels! It would be AWESOME!!!

So, I decided to try and practice a run of the Lip Dub just to show you the basic idea of how it works and where it will be. Here it is, hot from the press!~!~!~!!!!

P.S: There is some stuff missing. The Ice school song isn't there (gonna post it soon), and the beginning of the Fire song is messed up! Sorry about this, but hey, that's what practice is for! :)

The Pre-Lip Dub

Hey All,

So, for the Lip Dub, we are definatley going to need to set up a practice date. Here is a practice shot of me in the balance school:

I might film more tomorrow and just show you that and what it will actually look like. Now, for those who are interested in doing it. Here are the people we need:

• Someone who has one of the school homes (I want a house that's decorated, but if worst comes to worst, than we'll just go to the preview homes. So far we have a Life house (Diana G.), a Storm house (Patrick F.), and a Fire house (Luke G.)


• We are going to need singers! Note: We perfer you have open chat! If you don't then we will just have to put you in a place where you don't need it (For exmp: "Walk it out!" is a phrase where you don't need open chat) We will also not have you say bad words that may be in the song (such as in Walk it Out or Fire Burning) because it will not only put you at risk for getting band but it will make Ravenwood look bad (You guys will have your message typed in before I actually come to you, that way you dont have to waste time typing it).


• We are going to need Planners! The planners will plan where everyone will be.

And that's about it for specail jobs. Anyone who wants to be in it but doesn't want to be a main part, all you simply need to do is make a hallway and scream things like "GO RAVENWOOD!" and dance and stuff (You can even sing along to the song yourselves if you'd like). COME OUT AND SUPPORT RAVENWOOD!

Bringing Some Old Posts Back: Brisk Breeze

Hey all,

So, at 4:00 tonight, my ban will be lifted from Central. I really wish I could tell everyone there where they could find me!

Speaking of my blog on Central, I decided what I'm going to do with it. No, I'm not gonna keep it updated, however...every now and then, I'll update it so the people who don't know they can find me on here are somewhat up to date...

Anyway, so I decided that I'm going to bring back some of my very first discussions from my Central blog because:

1. I have nothing to talk about! xD

2. I now have more experience.

3. More people trust me and my knowledge now.

Ok, so our first "Back-From-The-Past" is Brisk Breeze Tower! Scary! o. O

Ok, so, most of us think of some things when we think of Brisk Breeze Tower in Colossus Blvd...Challenging...Hard... Frustrating...Difficult...Defeat... and many other sad/ anger feelings. Well, I'm going to teach you how to correctly do Brisk Breeze! This way, not only will you own, but you'll have fun at the same time!

Ok, today I'm just going to go over team building and special customization to decks...

These are the Classes that would make up a perfect combo (NOTE: This is not the only way to do this tower. There are millions of other ways to do this! Also, in order to participate in this tower, you must be level 50 and have Colossus Blvd):

- Fire Wizard: Not only can Fire Wizards beast with spells like Dragon and Helephant, but they also have some extremely useful enchants, such as Quench (Dispell- or make one spell fizzle- one Fire spell) and Choke (cast a stun on every opponet). Although Fire wizards can be good attacks, I only recommend them to fight during the two bosses. Make sure you're working overtime on those Quenches with the bosses!

- Life Wizard: It's pretty obvious why Life wizards would be valued for a tower such as Brisk Breeze. Life Wizards can heal with Spells like Rebirth, Satyr, Pixie, Dryad, and, heck, even Sprite, while also holding the ability to attack with cards like Centaur. I recommend that Life wizards mainly focus on healing, but try to multi task with the attacking the last boss while healing others.

- Storm Wizard: Like with the Life wizard, it is again REALLY obvious why you'd want a Diviner on your team. Although these Wizards have low health and accuracy (Which can be brought up with gear), their power is unbelievable with Brisk Breeze, especially with Spells like Storm Lord, Stormzilla, Tempest, and Triton! I recommend getting your armory ready and heading out, not worrying about any healing (Leave that to your group).

- Ice/ Death/ Balance (They all have they're same place in "The Perfect Group"): Now obviously, you can't have more than 4 people in your group, and we already have 3. These Classes of Magic all have their same place in this group. Death Wizards can serve as a backup healer (Sacrifice) or attacker. Ice wizards can use a Frost Giant spell back to back with a Storm Lord (in case the Storm Lord doesn't kill them or if you want those stun shields off of them). Balance certainly brings a lot to the party, making your attacks stronger and protecting you. Personally, this is where you can customize your group.

***Myth School***: Now, don't get me wrong, Myth school brings amazing spells to your team. However, it doesn't really have its certain niche in the team (Hence, it is once of those "Self Sufficient" Schools). However, if you want to find one and let me know, feel free :) (Earthquake helps with taking down your enemies defenses is about the only thing I can think of).

Hopefully This Will Clear Up Some Confusion About The Lip Dub...

So, I know that there are many people (those who have heard of it) don't get the Lip Dub at all. So, I'm going to try and explain it as best as possible:

We are going to be walking backwards. Here is a demonstration of the Storm School Song in the Storm Classroom:

Ok, for those of you that can't read my drawings, here is basically what it says.

Red O person = Me (P.D.)

Black O People = Crowd

Green O People = "Singers"

Purple Boxes/ Lines = Desk(s) and Railing(s)

The Red <--- 's = my path

The green lines = "Singers" path

Here are the Lyrics for this "scene", if you will:

(Start at door. Crowd dances; NOTE: we will start filming when the chat bubble from everyone's *Dancing* goes away. It is important that crowd people don't talk! Singers should already have their messages typed into their chat bars)

Green (3): You Want Rock and Roll

Green (2): You Want Dance

Green (1): Pop

Red (1): I know you want (might change that to Green 1),

So, when we play it reverse with the music, it will look like this:

Something To Talk About...

Hey Everyone,

So I'm writing because I'm bored and I have nothing better to do lol. For some reason I'm just not in the mood to go on W101 atm (At the moment)

Well, let's talk about World Strategies!

World Strats. are basically plans on how you're going to go through a world (MarleyBone, Mooshu, Wizard City, etc.) I guess today we can talk about my World Strat. for WC (Wizard City).

I really just like to do all the story quests first. As for the street order, I usually select the easier one(s) first, and take it from there (depending on what class I'm playing) If I can do both side quests and main missions at the same time, I'll try to do that. I do Colossus Blvd directly after first visiting KT (Krokotopia) so I can get that second potion bottle. And that is pretty much it! Take care guys!

My Horrible Days Just Keep Getting Better...

Hey guys,

So I couldn't sleep last night, and I didn't get to bed until around midnight (I have to wake up at 5:30). When I got up this morning, I was headed to Central when I stumbled into this:

"You have been banned for the following reason: You were warned about breaking rules and you broke another by posting a link to your blog

Date the ban will be lifted: 05-07-2010, 04:00 AM"

Ok, first off, let me say that that's not even a legit reason to ban me. The first time I posted my blog post, I had the link. A moderator warned me that it was breaking the rules, so he took it down. Ok, that's fine. No problem

However, I realized that he deleted everything about my continuing to blog. SO, I posts something like "As for my blogging carrear, I will be blogging on another site that I cannot name, due to rules on Central. You'll have to find me if you'd still like to hear my blog" And they said that I posted another link?! Dude, seriously?! I just said I was going to blog on another site! I never said (the second time) "Oh, here's where you could find me!"

To me, Central is way too strict and needs to cut down on their rules. That was just utter ridiculousness. Whatever, this obviously makes me want to stop blogging on there, and I'm afraid that, no matter how much someone makes it seem ok to post there again, it will probably never happen. I'll still post the contest on there though, and the contestants will still get their prizes!

So the Student Teacher elections are up and running. W00t! Please vote for me for the student teacher of the fire school! I have a feeling that I'm gonna lose, but whatever.

So, if elected student teacher (and probably even if I'm not) i want to organize a Lip Dub for Ravenwood! If you don't know what a Lip Dub is, watch this video of what we did at my school:

My First Post On Blogspot

Hey Everyone,

So, as some of you might know, I run a blog on (Wizard101)Central called The Pyromancer's Digest. I made a parallel my blog on Central, that way I don't have to obey all of their restrictions on talking.

Ok, so with that said, lets talk:

So, I finally got my charger today! I was getting so mad, I wanted to punch someone in the face lol (Yeah, I know, I got anger issues)

So, today, KI finally gave us more crowns to use the hatchery! w00t! So, I used these new crowns to mix my danger hound with my Helephant. Well, I was so excited, but after waiting an hour for it to hatch, it was......... another danger hound.

You have no idea how mad I was. Lol

Well, I'm not gonna spend much time on this, because it makes me so sad, but I'm probably ending my blog on Central. The post is here.

However, I'm really looking forward to building up this blog. So, hopefully, I have something to talk about tomorrow since I didn't really have anything today. See you later!
